Mentorship & Leadership in the Arts

As an artist, educator, and mentor, I am deeply committed to empowering individuals of all ages to explore careers in creativity and discover new ways of thinking about art and design. My mission is to inspire and guide students by exposing them to innovative teaching practices and helping them unlock their full creative potential.

I hold an MFA in Painting, along with a BFA in Illustration and Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving as an artist-in-residence at esteemed museums, art centers, and nonprofit organizations, where I’ve shared my passion and expertise with diverse communities. Empowering the Next Generation of Artists

As a Black leader in the arts, I am passionate about mentoring and empowering young people to pursue careers in the creative industry. I believe that representation, guidance, and access to quality education are essential in helping aspiring artists unlock their potential and explore new opportunities in art and design.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching a wide range of courses that provide students with the foundational skills and creative confidence needed to thrive in the arts. Some of the classes I have taught include:
